I frequently have long formulas that require the opening of the drop down edit box. Often I break these complicated formulas out line by line so I can understand them better. Unfortunately when I do this the visual cue that there is a long formula disappears because there may be blank space at the end of the first line, so I may not realize that there is much more to the formula than shows up in the one line display. It would be a nice enhancement for the system to figure out that a formula extends more than one line and then automatically pop open the drop down large edit box. That would save an extra mouse click, too.
