I find it quite frustrating that I have to create two different table visuals to show data quarter by quarter and YTD. If reporting by year then that can be expanded to show separate months but you can’t total quarters. It’s not so much any extra work involved, that’s just a case of duplicating the quarters’ table and changing granularity to Yearly, it’s the unnecessary extra tables in a dashboard/report and potential client confusion. In a table with lots of categories as rows, all of that has to be repeated on both the Quarter and YTD table which is unnecessary.
