I’ve had this kind of problem happen several times.
At first I will create a variable with a single category. Then, if it calls for entry of values, I will laboriously enter all the values. Then I may decide that I need a second category. But when I add it, the hierarchy of the categories of the variable may be backward. In the box that pops up when you select the categories icon for the variable, I need the ability to reorder the categories. I can get it done with a work around of deleting them and adding them back, but then I am forced to re-enter all the values.
